Who we are

What we collect
- Your email address, when you request clearance, and whether you agreed to hear from us.
- Basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, used to run the site and prevent abuse.
- Visit statistics: the pages you view, the site that sent you, your type of device and browser, and a few actions on the page, like turning the sound on, replaying or skipping the intro, or opening a venture's site, plus how far down the page you get and whether the intro played to its end. PostHog counts them for us without cookies or anything stored in your browser.
- Your browser remembers what you've unlocked here, your sound setting and, on a computer, when you last saw the intro. That stays on your device.
How we use it
To reveal the names you ask for, to email you now and then if you agreed, to keep the site running and secure, and to see how the site is used. For visitors in the EU and UK, we rely on your consent for emails and on our legitimate interests for the rest.
Who handles it
Our hosting, database and analytics providers, Vercel, Supabase and PostHog, process it for us in the United States. We don't sell it or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Your email address: until you ask us to delete it.
- Technical information: no longer than needed to run and secure the site.
- Visit statistics: as long as they help us understand how the site is used.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent to emails, by writing to privacy@agnosticstudios.com. We reply within 30 days, wherever you live. In the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. We don't sell or share personal information, or use it for targeted advertising.
A few more things
- Do Not Track: if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't count your visit at all. We never track you across sites.
- Children: this site isn't meant for anyone under 16.
- Changes: we'll update this page and the date at the top.
